About Parasols in Paradise

Parasols in Paradise was born in 2014 when Julie and her bestie were traveling in Rome trying to not melt in the hot Italian sun. Two parasols were purchased.

The story continues when they returned to their homes in Santa Barbara, California. Summer Solstice was coming up and they both wanted parasols again to protect their fair skin from the summer sun.

They found it hard to find parasols online, but didn’t give up the search! Eventually they found some that were from outside the USA. During the Solstice festival, so many women kept approaching them about their parasols they knew there was a business to be had!

Nine years later, the business is solely owned by Julie DeAngelis. She has personal connections with her manufacturers in Shanghai, China and Pushkar, India.

Julie loves the creativity and stylish look that a parasol can give anyone of any age. She hopes that you find the perfect parasol from Parasols in Paradise.
